Eyesight problems of the Dali Lama

Why maids would be good to have
It's been way too long since I've been here. It's been a solid week (well, maybe 4 or 5 days) since I've even been online at all. Sigh. And I almost regained all the feeling in my left hand fingertips because it's been a while since I played guitar. Too long. So I played again today. That was good, but I didn't have enough time. I need to play with someone, and I have a few friends that play guitar also. At least one. I also play magic with him. mmm, magic.
Last monday (the 15th) fencing practice started up. Captain's practices, 4-6 PM conditioning. They hurt. A lot of stuff I haven't done in a while. Well, not to the extent that I have been doing them, or ever have done them, really. A lot of wall sits (ask if you want to know), situps, pushups, and running. My best mile time (ever) I ran today, was 8:20. Yay! I suck! At running, that is. So I've been hurting a lot lately. Sore, and carp.
Anyway, this weekend (saturday) I went into New York and stayed over at Megan's friend's dorm. On sunday, we saw the Dali Lama speak in Central Park. For some reason, people were waiting in a line, but we went in another entrance, and just got into the park where he was. I don't know why people were waiting in that line, because it literally would have taken hours to get through it and into the park through the entrance that it was leading to. So we got in the park, and went to the section where he was speaking at. We listened for an hour until he was done. I couldn't understand much of what he was saying, though, because his accent was confusing, plus the speakers echoed. They had a jumbotron with cameras trained on him, but it wasn't in sync with the sound because of the different times it takes sound and light to travel. meh. I'm glad I went.
Well, that's probably the big things that happened. recently. IM or email me if you want to know anything else.
