Blood drive and attempted tree

This entry is about the 26th. Thursday. I'll put some more entries up later possibly right after I finish this one, probably not
I went to a church in waterford to give blood. St. Paul's church, I believe. It was pretty good. I'm getting better at needles. I used to have more of a phobia than I do now. But I still have to kind of grip the side of the gurney with my other arm. heh, gurney. It was pretty cold in the room.
When I went up to do the medical history, the guy was talking really fast, so I had to concentrate on what he was saying to understand it. There were a lot of questions about sex. "Since 1977, have you ever paid for or given anything in exchange for sex?" "Since 1977, have you ever been paid or been given anything in exchange for sex?" And it went on from there. I guess they don't care about anything that happened 27 years ago. Probably some legal thing. So then I gave blood, and went home. It was pretty noneventful, I guess, considering my anxiety about it.

Then my father and I went to try to find me a bonzai tree. It didn't work so well, because no place around has decent trees and knows about them. Dammit. Although, there was one at Salem Country Gardens that probably would have been ok, but I don't know why none of these garden stores label the kind of tree bonzai are. I mean, they sure as hell label everything else. Seriously, if you're going to buy a tree, wouldn't you think you'd want to know what kind of tree it is? feh.

That's pretty much it. Next time: packing and going to drew.

I'm having problems with the CSS for making text be centered. It's pissing me off. for the top of this post, I want the "or" to be centered. According to w3schools.com, the code is <span style="text-align: center;">or</span>, but it's not working for me. any tips would be greatly appreciated.
