yay for lazy
I've been busy. Well, that's only mostly true. I've also been not updating because I suck. Yes, like that. Unless you were thinking like that, in which case no. My schedule is pretty full, especially now since fencing's started. Ah well, I'm sure you don't want to hear any more about fencing.
I went home this weekend. *shock*, I know. What with me only going home last year three times during the year: thanksgiving, winter break, and spring break. Ah well. One of my friends, Andy, was having his Eagle Ceremony on Sunday. So I went home on Friday. That was fun. I had a three-hour layover. yeeshes. I was scheduled for a one-hour layover, which was the best I could have without getting back at like 10 at night. So, of course, my train was two and a half hours late. fun stuff! I got home at 10:30 or so. exciting stuff, it was.
On saturday, I went up to MIT to visit Alison. That was fun. MIT's crazy. Interesting, but crazy. Yeah, that's all for now.
The Eagle Ceremony was pretty good. I had two parts, because I'm an Eagle, and an Assistant Scoutmaster. Yay. One part was really dumb. It was like "an Eagle knows how to manage his money, once he gets some..." I thought that was a little dumb, but I couldn't really do anything about it. And there was a typo that I picked up on right away. I guess a lot of people don't care enough to read what they type. I mean, it wasn't even a spelling error, it was missing a rather important "a" as a word. Ah well.
Anyway, I'm back, and I took two tests today well, yesterday, Monday, at this point that's a lot of commas,,,,. The first test, for CompSci, went pretty well. As I thought it would, because most of it is the Javascript I learned last semester. Plus I tend to think that way. Ah well. The second test, for Econ, went less well. Still pretty well, but just not as well as CompSci. One of the questions definately wasn't in the chapter it said it was in, and I don't think it existed at all.
Oh, and I got SMiLE (capitalization intended) and Nevermind. I haven't listened to Nevermind much at all, except twice in the car coming home from Boston. When I was dead asleep. SMiLE's really good. Really good. get it now.
On driving to Boston, I made pretty good time. However, once I got there and found MIT, I got lost a few times. And I couldn't find a place to park, or where I was supposed to go. So once I was actually on the campus of MIT as much as I could be, it's not one contiguous campus, but in the city I had an hour and a half before I parked and got out. Sigh. And when I left, I was driving around for an hour trying to find I-90 westbound. I ended up getting on I-90, then, because I wasn't sure what exit I had to take to get on 290(395), I just took 95 back to Waterford. And I was really really tired. I left because I was feeling tired. It wasn't that late, maybe 9:30 or a little later when I left. Alison made me leave, which ended up being really really good, because as I was driving home, I kept blacking out. And twice I woke up doing 90. heh. fun stuff.
Well, I should go to sleep, it's time now. 'night.
