at home

so my train wasn't three and a half hours late this time. That's good. It wasn't a bad trip. The only thing was, when I got to Penn, I saw people boarding the train leaving that I could have taken. But I didn't want to take that one, because it was too tight. If my first train was 10 minutes late, I would have missed it. So I chose the right train, but it's kind of annoying.

I went to the thanksgiving game between Waterford (my town) and East Lyme (rivals in the next town). Meh, it was ok. I didn't see Matt Payne or Alison, the only two people I talked to about going. ha. grr. Have to beat them later.

Family is coming over soon. I hope the food's good. I'm not looking forward to the turkey so much as I am looking forward to the hors d'oeuvres. Wow, I had to look that up. That's because I'm lame. discuss.

I derive that I missed my Calc quiz

So apparently I misset my alarm last night, and so missed my calc quiz. But I emailed the teacher, and I'm taking it on monday before class. Phew. But that means I have to study this weekend. carp. Oh well. My CompSci test went pretty well, I think. Oh well.

I'm kinda thirsty. I should make some orange drink (mmm powdered sugar). heh. it tastes good, shut up.

Revolutions is coming along pretty crappy. I need to do a lot of work. And I haven't really done any yet. heh. that's good.

I registered for classes a while ago, and I got into everything I wanted. Csci 12 and 13, which apparently don't exist anymore, because they aren't listed as classes where the descriptions are. odd. I also got into math 104 and math 116. In non Math/csci news, I got into music 1, which I think will be good, because I've been needing to know some music theory. And I currently don't.

Going home on tuesday. I'm excited. Going to take Alison to the football game. She's never been to one of the Thanksgiving games, so I'm dragging her there. Should be fun.

Well, I'm going to spend some time making up a sheet telling me what classes I need to/can take for the rest of my time at Drew to make sure that I can double major in math/compsci. whee.

Three days less than a month since the last post

or

how I saw Ron Jeremy

I've been busy. Not too busy to update, I've also been lazy. For example now, I'm not doing any compsci, which I really should, because I need to have some done by Wednesday, and I haven't worked on really any at all. and now I pause to play a game. Ok, back. I haven't had too much to do, I just need to plan better. And by "plan," I mean "do crap." Because I don't.

Oh well, at least I saw Ron Jeremy. He came to Drew last Wednesday, the 3rd. Here's a google cache of one of the worst designed webpages ever, announcing the event. It was interesting: a debate between him and some lady that was anti-porn. Neither was particularly good at debating. It wasn't even a debate, because they didn't give points, and then respond to them, but simply talked for a while, then conceded the mike to the other person. Kinda disappointing, if you ask me, which you didn't. haha.

Classes are still ok. Compsci is good, because now we're doing stuff with real programs, so it feels like this isn't just book learning I've been waiting how many years for something real-world-related?.

Ok, I'm just going to let you know about overclocking toothbrushes and sleep.
