tired...and such

today, I went to fencing. at 8:30 in the morning. holy crap. I mean, come on. that's way too early. It was kind of annoying, because I wasn't going to ref, and then the stupid coach for Waterford (who is just about totally incompetent) went over to the strip that had the second ref from the other team, and told them that I was going to referee. thanks! stupid. so I ref'd another 15 bouts. then it was dumb, and they decided to have a stupid practice. but no drills, just open fencing. stupid.

then pizza at crown pizza. it was pretty good, but we could have used one or two more pizzas. feh.

I found some cds that I didn't import into itunes this summer. Nothing that I've been missing too much; I think the one that I really knew I missed out on was Smash Mouth's Astro Lounge. Their second best cd. nowhere as good as their first. That band's talent is so squandered on shrek and five year olds. sigh. I also put in Moby's Ambient. One of his old cds. Ah well.

I should get to bed at some point before 3. two would be nice, but for some reason, I don't see it happening.

Ok, I'm going to go back upstairs. I brought my computer down to watch SNL. because having a laptop is fun. I'm going back up to my bed. but bed != sleep. no, not like that. that's disgusting.

When eating is made not fun, something's gone wrong

So, yesterday well, two days ago by now, or sunday, as you might call it, my parents made me go to dinner with them and their friends for one of their friend's birthdays. Grr. I don't like this family. They make me uncomfortable. I don't like talking to them, and would rather be with just my family. Which is saying a lot. So yeah, that sucked, I ate some decent food, I guess. It was at the Morton House in New London. Food's too expensive, but whatever. I don't know why they have it so upscale, yet still have a freaking bar in the dining room. meh.
sleep now.

Driving...and driving...

So, I went to Jess' house for what I thought was only going to be a few days. It was a really good time. Best New Year's I've had. :)

On the way down, I made really good time. I got there in about four hours, but then got lost for one at the end (only a few miles from her house) because the directions her mom gave me were wrong. well, they said the right road, but the wrong turn. and I just looked at the turn, and not the road. so it was half my fault, but I didn't tell that to anyone. Hey, stop looking at me like that! I wasn't going to say anything to her mom, but she asked. she asked!

But the trip was very good. At least, except for her grandmother getting really sick and going to the hospital. :-/ They get a lot more snow, being in Pennsylvania and all. ha. on another note. But it was a good trip. I met a lot of her family, and her friends. I had fun. We went four-wheeling in her backyard or field, whatever she calls that area that is technically behind her house, but large.

upon coming back home, I noticed that people should clean the snow off the roof of their car. That way, it doesn't come flying off the roof in one big clump and fall in front of the cars behind you. and freak them out.

I totally forgot what I was going to say here. But it was damn good.

edit: I remembered: When I was coming home, I got stuck in Waterbury. In 30 or 40 minutes, I didn't go a mile. I decided to take out my book (Al Franken's Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them). It was good. I read a bit of it when I wasn't moving. But only for a few minutes, because we started moving again.

Take that, fucker

so, someone's been posting a few times on the comments on my blog. annoying things.
